The United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations has approved the candidacy of Geoffrey Pyatt for the post of U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, the decision of the Committee said, the text of which is published on the website of the Senate committee.
Following the recommendations of the committee, the full composition of the Senate should adopt the appointment of a new head of the U.S. diplomatic mission in Ukraine.
