Today, the government will consider the criteria to limit a movement of large vehicles on roads, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
He said that it is proposed to introduce differential rates of fare of vehicles when exceeding at least one weight or size parameters.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov charged the Infrastructure Ministry and the Justice Ministry to urgently develop a regulatory framework of modern norms of operation of highways and liability of carriers and together with the Internal Ministry to organize a system for monitoring and traffic control in accordance with the road conditions.
