Chairman of the Constitutional Assembly and first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk supports the idea of voting outside the Parliament in the case of blocking of work of the Verkhovna Rada, he told a briefing.

He noted that as of today, there is a crisis in the Parliament, as the biggest drawback of its work is a disagreement between the ruling party and the opposition. According to Kravchuk, it is necessary for all political forces to agree to avoid problematic issues in the future.

Kravchuk said that such non parliamentary methods as blocking lead to the fact that the Parliament does not vote for important bills.

"So if the opposition blocks, then the majority needs to go to another place and vote. The country cannot stop," Kravchuk stressed.
