Foreign minister of Ukraine and acting OSCE chairman Leonid Kozhara held a meeting with Georgian President Mikhael Saakashvili, press office of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The parties discussed enhancement of bilateral cooperation between Kyiv and Tbilisi, including European integration and preparation to the Vilnius summit "Western partnership".

Ukrainian FM also held talks with his Georgian colleague Maia Panjikidze and discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, considering Ukraine's presidency in OSCE
Leonid Kozhara also paid special attention to South Ossetia issue and expressed concerns about erection of a fence along its administrative border line, which obstructs traveling for people living in the neighborhood.

Kozhara called to solve the issue through peaceful negotiations under existing international mechanisms.

At the end of the meeting the parties signed the Consultation Plan between Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Georgia for 2013-2014.

Within the visit Leonid Kozhara also opened a new complex of Ukraine's embassy.
