Rybak considers Parliament to support increase in excises on beer

A bill to raise the excise tax on beer has all chances to be adopted in the Parliament, head of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak and head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

The head of the Parliament said that this issue is being agreed among the factions and committees. "I think the Parliament will support this bill. This is a very important issue," he said.

In turn, Yefremov said that the majority will likely support a proposal of head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health Tatyana Bakhteyeva about direction of money got from the increase in excise duty to the treatment of children.
