Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is convinced that the Association Agreement with the EU will be signed in November, primarily because it is commercial in nature.
"Most of the European countries understand the importance of our geostrategic position. They also know that our Eastern partners have the alternative, offering us to join the Customs Union. In any case, we will strengthen our relationship with them, thanks to which we have already provided 40% of our trade. We will never reject such prospects," the head of the Ukrainian government said in an interview with Le Figaro newspaper on the eve of his visit to France, Radio Liberty informed.
Azarov also noted that Ukraine will not act under somebody’s dictation.
"All attempts to dictate us how to behavior are doomed to failure. We are given advice, we are conducting dialogues, but I will not associate the fate of the European integration with Yulia Tymoshenko. And I do not want to spend time answering questions related to this lady during the meetings with European leaders," the Prime Minister stressed.
