Social Policy Ministry, Incomes and Fees Ministry to check PF debtors

The Social Policy Ministry and the Incomes and Fees Ministry plan to set up a commission to examine companies, which are debtors of the Pension Fund, social policy minister of Ukraine Natalia Korolevska told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Now we are closely working with the Incomes and Fees Ministry and plan to merge and set up a joint commission to verify those businesses, which owe to the Pension Fund. Timely income of resources is very important for us as this will give an opportunity to count and increase pensions by end of this year," she said.

According to the minister, for 5 months of 2013, the plan of internal revenue in the Pension Fund budget was exceeded by 1.3 billion UAH, and in comparison with the corresponding period last year there was received by 4.6 billion UAH more.

Korolevska also noted that all financial resources, received in excess of the budget of the Pension Fund, will be used to increase pensions.

"In November and December 2013, we plan to reassess pensions. In particular, now the big problem is "leveling" of pensions. For example, those who retired in 2007 and those who retired recently, have a different size of pensions. Sometimes the difference is 500-700 UAH, and this gap must be reduced," she said.
