Belarus to product agricultural machinery for Ukraine

"This will allow us to carry out the necessary modernization of harvesters, tow hooks, tractors and other machinery. According to various estimates, Ukraine annually loses about 5 million tons of grain due to lack of agricultural machinery. Ukraine needs to update 31 thousand obsolete tractors, it is a huge number," Prasolov said, adding that the country cannot afford to make the required number of tractors given the available capacities.

During the visit, Ihor Prasolov met with the industry minister of Belarus Dmitry Katerinich. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the agricultural machinery industry, and paid visits to two leading enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.
