Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated President of the Republic of the Philippines Benigno Simeon Aquino III on the occasion of the Independence Day of his country, the press service of the head of state reports.
"I am convinced that the Ukrainian-Philippine relations will continue to develop comprehensively on the basis of friendship and mutual understanding in the interests of the peoples of our countries," the message reads.
Yanukovych wished the President of the Philippines good health and success in his responsible state activities and peace, harmony and prosperity to the friendly people of the Republic.
