The Cabinet of Ministers initiated holding of the International Business Conference "Ukraine and Partners" in Kyiv on June 13-14, 2013, which is to become regular, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevicius, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic, European policymakers Pat Cox, Leszek Balcerowicz, and others have already confirmed their participation in the conference.
Board member of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valova and EU Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger are also expected to attend the conference. The sectoral discussions will be attended by members of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, heads of leading foreign companies and multinational corporations operating in Ukraine, leaders of Ukrainian market and recognized experts.
"During the conference it is expected to sign long-term agreements on cooperation in agricultural production, engineering, sustainable management and conservation of biological resources, development of the software industry, etc. We assume that the conference "Ukraine and Partners" will become an annual platform for identification of the most successful investment sectors and unique practicum of improvement of the business environment in Ukraine. That is, we create a new, permanent, systematic dialogue for investors. I think the focus of the conference will be the collaboration in the IT-industry and agro-industrial sector," PM said.
