Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak is sure that the true reason for Parliament’s blocking is a presidential campaign, which has already begun, and the leaders of the factions now fight with each other. He said this in a comment to Inter TV channel, the press service of the Party of Regions informs.
According to him, even if next week the opposition will block the rostrum, the Parliament will still work. "The opposition leaders should tell their constituents why they block the Parliament and do not fulfill their electoral programs," Rybak said.
"The real reason for blocking the work of Parliament is a presidential campaign, which has already begun. Today the leaders of the opposition factions begin to fight among themselves. My goal is to find a compromise in a very difficult Ukrainian parliament, because there has been no such Parliament since independence. My goal is to do everything possible for the MPs to hear each other, but the most important thing is that they hear their constituents and fulfill their election promises," he said.
Answering the question whether there is any precondition for the President to dissolve the Parliament, he said: "Today, there are no grounds for dissolution of Parliament. President does not consider such a question."
