Unscheduled plenary sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine won’t be held this week, first deputy head of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Mykhailo Chechetov informed.
According to him, the meeting of leaders of parliamentary factions with the President, to be held this week, will touch upon the constructive work of the Verkhovna Rada, and further tactics of the Party of Regions will depend on the outcome of this meeting.
"We will come to the sitting on June 18. If the sitting takes place on Tuesday, then we will work. If the opposition continues blocking the work of Parliament, we will just move to another room and will have to hold a session without them. All the necessary decisions for the country will be taken," Chechetov said.
He added that the Party of Regions will not initiate an extraordinary session of the Parliament, even if the leaders of the opposition factions refuse to meet with the President.
