Kyiv lacks 1900 family doctors, director of the Kyiv City State Administration healthcare department Vitaly Mokhorev said during the meeting of the KCSA board, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The regulatory burden on a family doctor is 1.5 thousand people. In Kyiv it is 2100-2200 people. However, this problem is gradually being solved. In general, Kyiv lacks 1900family doctors," he noted.
Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov mentioned that two thirds of Kyiv residents are still not provided with family physicians. He assured that in the next five years, the number of family physicians will increase up to 700.
