Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak sees no reasons for the opposition to block the work of Parliament, he told the Rada TV channel, the press office of the Verkhovna Rada reports.
Rybak also stressed that all the problematic issues were discussed during the two days of consultations with the faction leaders. "I do not see any issues on which it is necessary to block," the speaker said, adding that there are issues that have to be agreed at the level of the faction leaders, "but these are working moments."
The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said that next week he plans to meet with the President and discuss issues on Parliament’s work. After that, according to the head of the Verkhovna Rada, he will meet with the leaders of the opposition factions and continue the negotiation process.
"As chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, I will do everything possible to continue consultations, as the election programs must be implemented through laws. I think the Parliament will resume its work through compromises," he said.
In his opinion, the situation in the Parliament was caused by the approach of the presidential election campaign.
