
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is ready to come to the Parliament under condition that the opposition MPs will listen to him, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I think the president would be happy to come to the Parliament and address the deputies, as he did it before. But the MPs should listen to him, not hoot and shout in the hall while the head of state is speaking," Yefremov said.
He stressed that if the opposition is really ready to listen to the President, the Party of Regions will be first to ask Yanukovych to come to the session hall.
At the same time, the MP said that the opposition requires the presence of the President in the Parliament, knowing that he is paying a two-day visit to Serbia now.
