The message, published yesterday by the Education Ministry press service, about changing the rules of admission to higher education institutions, in particular, that providing for admission of school graduates to the second year of studying, was incorrectly worded. Former education and science minister of Ukraine (2005-2007) Stanislav Nikolaenko said about this in comments to ForUm correspondent.

"It was a mistake ... It is not about school graduates, but the graduates of technical schools and colleges, who have diplomas from technical schools and a high school diploma. Having read the message about changing the rules, you understand the following: high school graduates may be admitted to second year of studying in the university. Yesterday I called to some experts and asked them what they had written. They told me that they made a change, and information published on the website is already in interpretation, which I'm telling you," the ex-minister said.
