Opposition factions insist on a meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatseniuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

He noted that he considers getting the address of the President to MPs in writing as an unwillingness of the President to come to the Parliament.

"The opposition insists on public, fair and transparent dialogue about future of Ukraine and actions to be done to become the EU member. Over the last three years, Yanukovych has had no meetings with the Ukrainian opposition. Therefore, we insist: meeting in the Parliament, public debate, address of the President and the leaders of factions," the MP said.

In addition, according to Yatseniuk, speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak promised to talk with the President about his speech to the deputies on annual address to Parliament on the domestic and foreign situation of Ukraine.
