Members of Parliament from the opposition blocked the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and demand that the President personally comes to Parliament and read his annual address to Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, opposition members came to the presidium, crowding near the rostrum of Parliament. Moreover, opposition piled copies of the President's annual address to the Verkhovna Rada "On the internal and external situation of Ukraine in 2013" on the Parliament’s rostrum and the President’s box.

As MP from the Batkivshchyna faction Andriy Pyshnyi explained, the purpose of the action - to make President come to Parliament. "He should deliver speech himself, not send any books here," he said.

MP from Svoboda faction Bohdan Beniuk told ForUm that his colleagues from the faction left the message so that in future to use it to enhance the sound effects, if some MPs will speak Russian in the session hall.
