Members of Parliament of Ukraine congratulated journalists on their professional holiday. The whole audience gave standing ovation, ForUm correspondent reports.
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak said: "Dear colleagues, today is the Journalist Day. Let's congratulate our media workers. "After this, the deputies stood up and began to applaud.
The speaker wished reporters success, inspiration and creative achievements.
"Let your work always find love and respect in the hearts of people. You can see that the deputies give you standing ovation," he noted.
Immediately after greeting, Rybak announced a break at the request of the UDAR and Batkivshchyna factions and invited the leaders of the factions to a meeting in his office.
