PJSC Ukrtransgaz is planning to sign a contract with Slovakia’s Eustream on June 15-20 on the supply of natural gas through Slovakia, Ukrainian energy and coal industry minister Eduard Stavytsky stated.

“Eustream and Ukrtransgaz will sign a contract on June 15-20,” he told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

As a reminder, Slovakia is the major corridor of gas supplies from Europe to Ukraine. Ukrtransgaz proposed that the Slovak side use one of the four existing gas pipelines to supply gas in reverse mode, which will provide gas receipts of up to 10 billion cubic meters per year.
