Ukraine has no right to oppose markets of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, "Ukraine can not ignore any foreign markets, especially those markets, on which the Ukrainian goods are competitive and in great demand. The EU market, which we strongly want to join, has other benefits and other requirements. And we have no right to oppose these two markets (the CU and the EU)," he noted.

Azarov reminded that Ukraine supplies to the Customs Union pipes, carriages, space technology and agricultural products.

"When some politicians claim that we are not interested in the CIS market, I am outraged by irresponsibility of such statements," Azarov said.
