Leader of the Fatherland faction Arseniy Yatseniuk requires changes to the law on the Central Election Commission, he said, speaking in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We demand to amend the law on the Central Election Commission." the MP said.

According to Yatseniuk, the procedure for electing the members of the CEC should be changed. The composition of the Commission should include one representative from each parliamentary faction and one representative from independent lawmakers.

He stressed that these changes should be introduced before the presidential elections in 2015.
