Deputy head of the main investigation department of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry Oleh Tatarov has said that law enforcers are continuing to investigate the incident with an attack on Ukrainian journalists Olha Snitsarchuk and Vlad Sodel at a rally in Kyiv on May 18 and requested information that can help law enforcement agencies, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"A lot of attention is being paid to this case. We repeatedly requested any information that may be useful to investigators. Unfortunately, we have not yet received such information. Some individuals use this information to earn some dividends," he said at a meeting of the interagency working group on analyzing the state of compliance with the law on freedom of speech and the protection of journalists’ rights in Kyiv on Monday.

He said that a lot of work had been done under these criminal proceedings, an investigative team of 45 people had been set up and over 200 procedural measures had been taken.

He recalled that 15 police officers had been disciplined in connection with the incident.
