Party of Regions candidates win early elections in six towns

Six candidates nominated and supported by the Party of Regions won early mayoral elections on June 2, 2013 in Crimea, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv and Chernivtsi regions, the party’s press service has reported, Interfax informs.

Most voters supported Party of Regions candidate and Secretary of Yalta Town Council Serhiy Ilash as chairman of Yalta Town Council (Crimea).

The chairman of the Vasylkiv town branch of the Party of Regions, Volodymyr Sabadash, won the mayoral election in Vasylkiv (Kyiv region).

First Deputy Head of Alchevsk Town Council Volodymyr Kosiuha won the mayoral election in Alchevsk (Luhansk region).

First Deputy Chairman of Berehove Town Council Zoltan Babiak won the election for Berehove Town Council (Zakarpattia region).

First Deputy Chairman of Voznesensk Town Council Vitaliy Lukov was elected the chairman of Voznesensk Town Council (Mykolaiv region).

Party of Regions candidate Volodymyr Melnyk became the chairman of Novodnistrovsk Town Council (Chernivtsi region).
