According to preliminary weather forecasters, hot summer with possible abnormally high temperatures is expected in Ukraine, director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida informed.
"There is a trend of temperature increase within summer period in Ukraine and in the whole world. Over the past 20 years, temperature has increased from 1 to 1.8 degrees. In this case, we can only expect hot summer, with temperature control above normal. This summer, we can expect a significant number of days with high temperatures," Kulbida said.
According to him, today it is impossible to predict whether there will be extremes of heat, for example, up to 42 degrees above zero, but that cannot be denied.
