Today Kyiv hosts a ceremony of awarding the winners of the Fourth All-Ukrainian drawing competition among children with diabetes, ForUm correspondent reports.
"All 13 winners will be awarded with health resort voucher," chairman of the Pediatric Endocrinology Association of Ukraine Natalia Zelinska informed.
According to the organizers, the competition is annually attended by about 600 children. 12 winners are chosen by the jury, composed of the Director-General of Sanofi in Ukraine Jean-Paul Scheuer, chairman of the Pediatric Endocrinology Association of Ukraine Natalia Zelinska and radio and television presenter, president of Gala Media Group Pavlo Shylko (DJ Pasha). A 13th winner is defined by Facebook users.
"This competition helps children with diabetes and clinicians better understand each other. Physicians have the opportunity to see the talents of their patients, and children - to show what they can do. Such support for young patients from the community is extremely important," Zelinska said.
