The fifth part of applicants wishing to pass the external independent testing (EIT) will take it in the languages of national minorities, education and science minister Dmytro Tabachnyk told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The vast majority includes those who have expressed a desire to pass the EIT in Russian," the minister said.

Tabachnyk stressed that taking tests in Russian is important for those who decided to study in higher educational institutions of Russia.

"Mobility should be seen not only as a one way road, but as a road allowing each participant of traffic to choose the one he wants to go, otherwise we all can turn into amazing ancient pharaohs," Tabachnyk concluded.
