Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov instructed head of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko to develop and submit for consideration to the government the necessary proposals for enhancing cooperation with the Russian Skolkovo Innovation Center.
Azarov reminded that last week there were held the international conference "Ukraine - Russia - Skolkovo" and field meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board of Skolkovo Innovation Fund in Kyiv. The participants of the meetings discussed the issues of promoting high-end technologies, materials and products of five areas, in which the Skolkovo Center operates: biomedicine, information technology, energy, space and nuclear technology.
"We also considered the possibility of implementing targeted investment projects on the territory of Ukraine on the basis of developments of our specialists," PM said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
Furthermore, he added that the Ukrainian representatives will become members of the Skolkovo Industrial and Scientific Advisory Boards.
The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine should decide on enhancing cooperation with the Center in the near future.
