The Freedom faction, which requires all members to speak in the Ukrainian language in the Parliament, consciously provokes confrontation in the Parliament, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"The Freedom representatives consciously provoke confrontation and hinder development of the Ukrainian language in the Parliament," he said.
According to him, the law does not oblige MPs to speak during the meetings exclusively in Ukrainian.
"MPs will not speak Ukrainian essentially, because then the voters will not understand them," the politician added.
