Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated Ukrainian border guards on their professional holiday, the President’s press service informs.
"Dear border guards, veteran guards! I heartily congratulate you on your professional holiday. Devotion to the motherland, high professional level, indomitable will and loyalty to the border traditions are the characteristic features of a modern defender of Ukrainian borders," he noted.
According to the President, the integrated development of the state border, the introduction of new technologies and high culture of border control will continue securing the proper level of national security, law and order.
"Thank you for your honesty, courage, patience and impeccable service during performing of your civic duty. I am convinced that the border guards are always with honor will protect the political, economic and military interests of the Ukrainian state. I wish you and your families good health, happiness and well-being," congratulatory message reads.
