Law enforcers have detained about ten people who tried to block the holding of the Equality March in Kyiv on Saturday.
An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that young men tried to break through the police cordon around representatives of sexual minorities.
One of the detainees threw a smoke bomb over police buses.
All of the detainees were placed in a police van.
Police officers then allowed representatives of sexual minorities to enter the territory of the Dovzhenko Film Studios to avoid further conflicts and so that they could freely leave Peremohy Avenue. Thus, the Equality March that lasted about an hour has ended.
