Ukrainian dolphins die when exported abroad, expert of the National Ecological Center of Ukraine Kateryna Polianska announced, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Despite the fact that Japanese dolphins live in Kyiv dolphinarium, we export dolphins. Now we are selling Ukrainian dolphins in Belarus, Armenia, Turkey, Egypt, plan to bring them to the Czech Republic," Polianska said.
According to her, recently two dolphins, one of which was a pregnant female, died at customs for transport in Egypt. "We demand from the prosecutor's office to ban export of our dolphins," the expert said.
