Opening of the V Ukrainian championship of teams of emergency medical care with international participation has been held in Kyiv.
As ForUm correspondent reports, the grand opening was attended by health minister of Ukraine Rayisa Bohatyriova and chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov.
"These competitions are conducted in order to determine the level of preparation of people, who work in teams of emergency medical care. These are professional competitions, as they are intended to show who better and faster works in difficult circumstances," Bohatyriova said.
According to the chief judge of the championship Arsen Hudyma, the competitions will be attended by 38 teams, representing all regions of Ukraine, as well as foreign teams from Lithuania and Poland.
"I want to assure all participants that the judging will be carried out objectively and with an open mind," Hudyma said.
