Six more Ukrainian citizens were evacuated from Syria on Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing on Tuesday.
“Six Ukrainian citizens were sent home on May 21 this year on a flight of Ukrainian Mediterranean Airlines on the Beirut-Kyiv route,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informed.
He said that the evacuated Ukrainians arrived at Boryspil Airport at 7.50 pm, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Ukrainian citizens who arrived on this flight were granted unimpeded passage through border and customs procedures, as well as assistance in further transportation to their place of residence in Ukraine.
