This year 18 out -of-town children's summer camps will be opened in Kyiv region, in which almost 90% of children will rest, chairman of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoly Prysiazhniuk stated, ForUm correspondent reports.
"15 of them are regular and three are sanatoriums. In addition, 14 campsites and 3 camps of labor and recreation, summer schools for gifted children will work," the governor said.
According to him, health improvement of 89.5% of children (about 140-150 thousand) is planned. The cost of tour will cost parents 200-400 UAH per day.
"In addition, scout camps will be opened - when guys do everything with their own hands: build, cook. Parents are very happy and the kids love it. Last year, two such camps were working and this year we will continue supporting scouting," Prysiazhniuk promised.
According to him, the sanitary and epidemiological service is to check the readiness of all children's camps of Kyiv region for start of the summer season in 10-day period.
In addition, about 500 talented children this summer will rest on the Greek island of Crete.
