About 400 thousand capital residents will receive cash assistance, dedicated to Kyiv Day, director of the KCSA culture department Svitlana Zorina said during extended staff meeting on preparations for the celebration of Kyiv Day, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Certain categories of citizens will be given one-off targeted social assistance. Nearly 400 thousand Kyiv residents will get 100-500 UAH for the holidays," she said.
Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov noted that such assistance is usually provided to citizens with low income, minimum pensions, as well as those, who have merits for the city.
In addition, Zorina informed that during the celebration of Kyiv Day, 19 municipal cinemas will hold an action, within which representatives of socially vulnerable categories of the population will be able to purchase tickets for first nights for 10 UAH.
As a reminder, this year Kyiv Day will be celebrated on May 25-26.
