Ukraine has already performed a great deal of work, required for signing of the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine’s foreign minister Leonid Kozhara announced reporters on May 18, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We need to keep positive dynamics of the adopted legislation, necessary for the agreement signing, during the month, before the parliamentary recess, and by October," he stressed.
Ukraine should demonstrate not only the fact of adoption of legislation, but the changes in our state and public life in accordance with it. The foreign minister is convinced that Ukraine is fully capable to handle it.
"I have the best hopes of signing the agreement this November in Vilnius," Kozhara said and added that apart from the Agreement, simplification of visa regime with the EU will enter into force the next year.
"We hope that the last visa wall with the countries of the Schengen area will be overcome in the near future as well," the politician stressed.
