It is economically reasonable to develop a flexibility of the national currency in Ukraine, president of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoly Kinakh said during the Union board meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the stability of financial system or national currency unit can not be a subject of the current market condition. "Such a serious indicator as the stability of hryvnia affects the lives of every citizen, and it should never be a political "bargaining chip," the expert noted.
He added that the currency exchange rate and the monetary policy of the National Bank of Ukraine should always contain very smart and projected measures, especially given the situation on the domestic market, where about 52% of domestic and 48% of imported products are consumed.
