The unemployment rate fell by 0.1 percentage points to 1.9% in Ukraine in April 2013, the State Statistics Service reported, Ukrinform reports.
The State Employment Service in April registered 534.7 thousand unemployed (571.6 thousand in March), of whom 408.5 thousand were receiving unemployment benefits (450.3 thousand, respectively).
An average benefit per one unemployed in April 2013 was 1.116 UAH (1,194 UAH).
Among urban population, there are 322.3 thousand unemployed, among rural population 212.4 thousand.
Of the total number of unemployed, 292.5 thousand are women and 242.2 thousand men.
