Ukraine's chances to sign the Association Agreement with the EU at the summit of "Eastern Partnership" in November have improved significantly, member of the European Parliament from Bulgaria Kristian Vigenin (Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats) said in interview with the Uriadovyi Kurier Ukraine’s governmental newspaper.

"I think that the chances have greatly improved. The President and the Government of Ukraine seem to hear their European partners. However, three important issues, which Ukrainian authorities should pay more attention to, remain on the agenda: legal reform, reform of the electoral law and the problem of so-called selective justice and the case of Yulia Tymoshenko," he said.

According to the MEP, the three mentioned problems are in the area for close monitoring by the European Commission and other European partners of Ukraine. "I hope that a new tone, emerged in relations between Ukraine and the EU, will continue strengthening, and these three problem points will be resolved. I hope that the Association Agreement will be signed in Vilnius," he stressed.
