Yesterday, May 15, the second meeting of the Dialogue on Trade Issues, established in accordance with the "Memorandum on cooperation in trade between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" was held in Kyiv.

The delegation of the Customs Union member states was headed by the minister for trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission Andrei Slepnev, the delegation of Ukraine - economic development and trade minister of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov.

The parties discussed current issues of economic cooperation between the member states of the Customs Union and Ukraine, in particular, issues of import of certain goods to Ukraine and the export of Ukrainian goods to a single territory of the Customs Union.

The ministers noted the importance of this meeting, as the work passed into the implementation phase, and expressed confidence that this meeting will give impetus to the work on the liberalization of mutual trade and removal of barriers, obstructing development of partnerships.

Following the meeting, the parties signed the protocol, which covers the issues of mutual interest. The agreement was reached to hold the third working session of the dialogue.
