Since the beginning of 2013, own revenues of the Pension Fund of Ukraine have amounted to 53 billion UAH, social policy minister of Ukraine Natalia Korolevska said during a conference call, ForUm correspondent reports.

"This is one of the best indicators. It exceeds revenue of the previous year by 4 billion 600 million UAH, and is nearly 8% higher than planned. This allows pay pensions timely now and till the end of the year," the minister said.

At the same time, she stressed that the problem of debt to the Pension Fund remains challenging one. "As of May 1, the current debt is 8 billion UAH," Korolevska noted.

She added that in May pension were paid fully. "All the social services and the Pension Fund comply with the obligations in full and paid 10 billion pensions," the minister said.

She also stressed that one-time assistance to veterans of the war in the amount of nearly 817 million UAH was also paid timely.
