U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft said that the United States urges Ukraine to hold elections to the Verkhovna Rada in the five troubled districts.
"It remains our concern. We believe that new elections in these districts should be appointed, and we talked about it openly with Ukrainian authorities," Mr. Tefft said.
He noted that the United States fully supports the European Union in matters relating to Ukraine, namely the judiciary reform, reforming the prosecution and holding fair elections
