Today, a hearing on the claim of citizen Vira Ivanova to the leaders of three opposition factions will be held in the Holosiyivsky district court of Kyiv, Radio Svoboda reports.
Ivanova demands to recognize the actions of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Vitali Klitschko and Oleh Tyahnybok regarding blocking the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada as illegal.
A preliminary hearing should have been held on April 11, but it was postponed at the request of the plaintiff.
Lawyers of the opposition leaders filed a petition to close the case because, in their opinion, the actions of the deputies were a form of public protest, and because the fact that the powers of the district court do not provide for consideration of such cases.
