The flow of tourists in Crimea from April 30 to May 6, 2013 grew by 24% compared to the same period last year, Crimean resorts and tourism minister Oleksandr Liyev said on Tuesday.

He said that as usual, the largest number of tourists during the May Day celebrations visited Yalta, Alushta and Yevpatoriya. 

At the same time, high growth in tourist traffic was recorded in the Feodosiya district and in the town of Saky. 

The increase in tourist flow in Crimea ranged from 15% to 30%.

About 350,000 tourists have visited Crimea since the beginning of the year, which was by 19% more than in the same period last year, Liyev said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
