President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed the law N198-VII on the approval of decision of the President of Ukraine on admission of units of military forces of other states on the territory of Ukraine in 2013 to participate in multinational military exercises, the press office of the head of state reported.
As a reminder, a few thousand soldiers and hundreds units of equipment from more than two dozen countries are expected to arrive in Ukraine to conduct joint exercises during this year. Except for the NATO countries, Russia and Belarus will participate in joint exercises with Ukraine.
The Ukrainian-Belarusian exercises are scheduled for April-November. The Ukrainian-Russian military exercises will be held during the same period. In addition, Ukraine and Russia will hold a "Fairway of Peace - 2013" in May-June.
