High level of fire danger will remain in the forests of Ukraine, director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"As of today, the level of fire risk is high and very high. It does not reach the highest fifth class only in the western and northern regions, and this figure is exceeded in other regions. For example, it reaches 10-11 thousand points in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. That is almost twice as much as indicator of the fifth class," he said.
In turn, deputy director of the rescue forces department of the Emergency Service of Ukraine Mykola Chechetkin noted that the Service will introduce a limit on visit to the forest and forest parks due to the current situation, it will also create patrols of rescuers, Interior Ministry, employees of the State Agency for Forest Resources and local authorities.
