Hidropark, several beaches and streets were flooded in Kyiv.
In particular, the paved road to the Obolon beach turned into a waterway. Most drivers cannot pass this way and get to the opposite bank.
The water level rose in the Druzhby Narodiv park as well. This is a favourite place of people, who are fond of extreme sports. Traditionally, almost four thousand people gather in this park at the weekend.
The State Service for Emergencies of Ukraine assured that the water level is by 10 centimetres lower than expected, and the people are not in danger. It will respond only when the water begins to threaten human life.
