The left-wing forces and veterans' organizations marked the International Workers’ Day in Lviv today.
About 50 representatives of the Communist Party, the Progressive Socialist Party and the veteran organizations of the city gathered in front of the Monument of Liberators’ Fame.

The participants laid red carnations and other flowers to the monument.

At the beginning of the meeting, participants of the rally unfolded red flags of the Communist Party, the All-Ukrainian Union of Female Workers, and fixed on the chest of each participant a badge with the inscription "May 1 - Labor Day".

The meeting lasted from 11.00 to 11.30 a.m.

About 250 police officers maintained public order.
