Near the Arsenalna metro station in Kyiv, police detained about 20 young people in masks and sent them to a district police station to establish their identities, the Interior Ministry press service informs.
Starting from 11 a.m., in the abovementioned place, citizens began to gather to attend the event in celebration of the Day of Solidarity of Workers, organized by one of the trade unions.
Among those present there were about 20 young people who put on masks with slits for eyes.
"Young people refused to remove masks at the request of the police officers. In this regard, in accordance with the Article 11 of the law of Ukraine on police, the citizens were sent to the Pechersky district police department to establish their identities," the report says.
